Security Exhibition and Conference 2016 Wrap Up

With Security Exhibition and Conference 2016 over and done with for another year, ActivConsole looks back at what was once again a tremendous show. With yet another show stopping piece, designed and manufactured in Melbourne just weeks before the show began, ActivConsole proved once again that it is still the industry leader and continues to set the benchmark for height adjustable consoles.

The height adjustable console on display typified ActivConsole’s long-standing experience in the field, highlighting its uncompromising elegance, sophistication and functionality. Utilising the latest in powder-coating and lifting system technology, interest in the console created a stir among exhibitors and patrons alike. This genuine interest was emphasised as several surprise bids were offered during the course of the exhibition, with the console eventually being sold to an exhibitor on Day 2, much to the delight (and disappointment) of each respective party.

Built with patented powder-coated MDF technology, the ActivConsole on display featured a sturdy, uncompromising aluminium frame cladded with powder-coated MDF panels and bench tops. The bench top featured a sophisticated, aesthetically-pleasing chamfered front edge that increases operator comfort and productivity. Proven to be easily cleaned and maintained, the flexibility of this MDF technology has only begun to enter the marketplace and ActivConsole has managed to capture and tailor its application perfectly.

The lifting system on display featured dual leg height adjustment per console (with the option for an additional two for higher lifting capacity), powered from a central control box that fed out to both an elegant embedded bench top control switch and a handheld remote control, demonstrating the flexibility and modularity provided with all console ranges.
