After the success of our Elite console at Security 2012, we knew as a company we had to put our heads together to make something mind blowing for next years show. Make no mistake of how much work went into creating our latest product in the ActivConsole range, the Viewline Series.
The last few months leading up to the show the design and manufacturing team at AME System were glued to their posts, making sure every little detail had been noted, every little flaw had been eliminated and every little design feature had been accentuated for the thousands that would be passing the console each day at the show. With a perfectionist mentality like that, its no wonder our Viewline console and accompanying Plasma display took the breath of many a visitor of Security 2013.
As the show creeped closer, the design team sat down and really began to think about where the industry was headed and what type of product could make the biggest impact at the show. Countless hours of research and development landed on two simple conclusions – touch screen technology and monitor walls. And with that, the Viewline was born.
Working closely with select clients, AME System set out to develop Australia’s best and most interactive visual control console yet. Concepts after concepts were debated and thrown out, only to be revisited and redeveloped. Months of hard work culminating at long last into the company’s most innovative console yet.
As thousands of onlookers and potential clients surrounded the stand over its three day exhibition, the Viewline and the Plasma Display worked wonders for ActivConsole and the operators around it. The ergonomic design and state of the art Australian design reflected perfectly in the Viewline’s flawless benchtops, its sleek curves and its cable management systems. Breathtaking functionality and effortless simplicity, the Viewline allows operators the ability to sit/stand at their posts at the touch of button, with multi-user preferences able to be set as defaults using the LED touch screen technology. A console that allows you to customise your experience with it and have it remember your configuration so that the next time you interact, it remembers your work environment and adjusts itself accordingly.
Of course, who could miss the grand sidekick to the viewline, our plasma display. A standalone piece of excitement, perfectly complimenting the Viewline’s sleek modern looks. Effortlessly raising and lowering the 5 large LCD monitors hidden within its sculpted exterior. The eye catching contrast of gloss black on satin white, combined with the way the light reflected the monitors as they raised up to reveal a delicacy of visual stimulants, was simply beautiful in its simplicity. Simulating a real life monitor wall on a smaller scale, the plasma display definitely drew several looks of its own and a without a few interested buyers.
With thousands coming to the show – whether they sought out a control room console or not – everyone was unquestionably enthralled at the understated yet magnificent technology that is behind the latest in the ActivConsole range. A wonderful mix of technology, state of the art Australian design and functional integrity, the Viewline console was the clear highlight of Security 2013 and will no doubt make its way fast into growing control room environments throughout Australia and the world.
